President’s Council of Hutchinson Island NEXT MEETING: March 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Hutchinson Island Club Social Room 10410 S Ocean Drive Speaker: Jane Cornett Attend Via Zoom at: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/3268588868?omn=86574635370 Meeting ID: 326 858 8868 St. Lucie County looking at allowing an extra seven (7) feet to the 35-feet Zone B height limit to allow for the addition of elevator or stairs to roofs. This would be county-wide. The President's Council is trying to get the islands exempted from this and keep to the HIRD as established. An informal discussion will take place January 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Contact Harvey or Charlie for more information. Normandy Beach Vacant Parcels -
Zone B, NOT A !!!ATTENTION: YOUR HELP and PRESENCE IS NEEDED BEFORE 3 PUBLIC HEARINGS!!!
It is critical that we get as many people to attend the meetings as possible! Please ATTEND, write or call to support retention and preservation of the long-standing understood line of demarcation between Zones A (greater density and height up to 125 ft.) and B (less density and 35 ft height limit) as the north boundary of the Regency Condominium and NOT the now developer claimed further north boundary of Normandy Beach. It could potentially lead to the extension of Zone A as far north as the south boundary of Diamond Sands and puts at risk adherence to the long-standing Hutchinson Island Residential District (HIRD) that is so very important to our island community. A tool to contact commissioners and the address for all of the meetings is HERE

Your attention to this time-sensitive and important matter is most appreciated. Thank you, Board of Directors PCofHI |
